ABOUT SHIFT EV:
Shift EV is a fast growing electric vehicle technology company, based in Cairo, Egypt. Our vision is to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in Egypt and the region by developing state-of-the-art electric drivetrain solutions. You will work with world-class technology veterans from MIT, Intel and General Motors to build a venture with transformative potential.
YOU’LL WORK ON:
Driving sales of our electric mobility products with institutional owners of fleets, in last mile delivery, services and transportation. You will also play a critical role in customer discovery for new products and new markets, and commercial prioritization of opportunities. You will expand Shift EV's sales bandwidth by hiring, training and managing a sales team. You will report directly to the VP of Commercial Operations.
YOU'LL HAVE OWNERSHIP OVER:
Full Sales Cycle
Own sales of a segment of existing products in current markets from strategy to execution.
Identify and qualify customer leads
Collaborate with the finance function on structuring fleet-level transition products.
Collaborate with the product operations function and manufacturing leadership on customer success.
Work with the product operations function to close new deals and cross-sell new products into existing accounts.
Commercial Customer Discovery:
Work with the product operations function on piloting existing products in new markets.
Work closely with the product management function on customer discovery for new products and on prioritizing new opportunities.
Sales Team Leadership
Build and structure the sales team based on markets and products
Maintain and develop current CRM capabilities
Develop sales forecasts to guide strategy
YOU ARE:
An experienced B2B sales professional with a track record of deals to prove it.
Technically minded or have sufficient curiosity to learn the inner workings of EV products.
Naturally quantitative, with a strong finance / analytics background to effectively drive a value-based sales process with a heavy financing component.
An excellent communicator who is able to work with different styles of people and influence different stakeholders
High integrity.
Deeply passionate about climate change mitigation, with a passion for electric vehicles.
A resourceful problem solver with a track record of working on entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial projects.
You have a lot of grit and agility to work with ambiguity and uncertainty.
(Nice to have) Deeply knowledgeable about fleets, and fascinated by the ongoing disruption in the logistics world.
