As a Quality manager, you’ll help build the state-of-the-art smart vehicles our customers expect from us. We’re constantly developing new technologies and processes within our plant to further increase our efficiency. That means we’re continually seeking diligent, determined performers who think outside the box to help us find better, more efficient ways to manufacture our vehicles. You must use critical thinking skills to evaluate your options and choose the best one. Also be able to assess your own and others' performances, as well as that of electrical products, components, and applications, and make improvements as needed. Promote and maintain a culture and attitude of continuous improvement, working within the Shift-EV team to make it a more efficient, safer, and enjoyable place to work. You will collaborate with Product Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering to deliver high-quality products/components to defined standards.


 YOU'LL HAVE OWNERSHIP OVER:

  • Ensure that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.

  • Lead, coach & assess the performance of team members

  • Develop and implement a robust supplier quality management system.

  • Conduct thorough supplier assessments and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to identify and resolve quality issues & drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance.

  • Oversee daily quality operations and ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.

  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Develop inspection methods to inspect, test & analyze materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.

  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.

  • Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards.

  • Investigate, troubleshoot & resolve product or production issues and ensure process improvement - developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.

  • Analyse data and monitor the implementation of all Processes and Quality Control Strategies.

  • Train various teams for quality procedures and ensure compliance with best practices.

  • Document all developing material requirements and administer all hardware and software requirements.

  • Ensure compliance to timeline and quality for various phases of the engineering process.

  • Design statistical sampling process & review finished products and perform audits

  • Develop operational initiatives and participate in various meetings.

  • Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarising information and trends.

  • Establish and maintain Control Plans to ensure critical features are controlled and monitored through the assembly/production processes.



You have:

  • Electrical/mechanical engineering degree with 8-10 years experience in quality control & assurance.

  • Knowledgeable of the safety precautions of high voltage usage

  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO/TS 16949, etc.).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with basic mathematical arithmetic skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Able to work efficiently in a team environment.
