As a Junior Local Engineering Procurement Engineer/Specialist, you will join the Engineering team on Ensuring that the engineering Requirements will be fulfilled and smooth sourcing activities for the new items.

 

What you will do

  
  • Conducting a market survey periodically to get the best prices and evaluate the performance of suppliers.
  • Updating & maintaining a list of approved suppliers and identifying new suppliers.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to get the best package ensuring a short lead time.
  • Receiving purchase Requisitions from different functions.
  • Prepare quotations from suppliers for multi-source purposes.
  • Managing delivery orders until the delivery is complete.
  • Properly record suppliers’ databases and purchase order data on the system.
  • Ensure that purchase orders are provided in the right place, in the required quantity, in the right quality, and on time. 

YOU HAVE:

  • Experience in Purchasing & Supply chain. 
  • Excellent Negotiation Skills and Sourcing Strategies.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and priorities work.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and good writing skills, with the ability to adapt to various situations and audiences as needed.
  • Experience using EPR Systems (SAP Is Preferred)
  • Knowledge about the Procurement Cycle.

YOU MUST:

  • Have 1-2 years of experience in procurement.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree preferable in mechanical engineering or any relevant field. 
  • Experience with sheet metal work.
  • Demonstrate ownership and have a strong sense of integrity in your work.
  • Thrive in dynamic fast-pace and high-pressure situations. 
  • Be strategic and proactive.
  • Be self-aware, flexible, and open-minded.
  • Combine analytical thinking, hands-on problem-solving, and a customer-service mindset.
